Apple iPhone 8 Reportedly Could come with New Wireless Charging Technology
According to a new report for apple, next Apple flagship iPhone 8 could feature wireless charging technology, which hasn’t seen on Android devices released till the date. The novel wireless technology will be able to charge the smartphone from a distance of concerning 15 feet which means that consumers won’t need to put the smartphone on a wireless charging plate.
Many reports claim that Apple will remove iPhone 7s name and launch company’s 10th anniversary phone with the name of iPhone 8. As per Zach Epstein’s report, Apple could utilize wireless charging tech urban by Energous that could let the iPhone 8 charged from across the room. A tinny chip inside the iPhone 8 will permit the device wirelessly connect to a support station and charge the battery from up to 15 feet.
The report added, "Energous has repeatedly stated on earnings calls that it is working with a "tier 1" smartphone manufacturer, and all signs in the past have pointed to Apple." If the report comes true then users will be able to charge the smartphone without placing the phone on a charging plate.
Previous report states that, Apple will use OLED panels in its next flagship; the OLED panels are more energy efficient than current IPS LCD panel of iPhone 7 so the company may move to OLED displays.
